DOMINGUEZ -- Mark Francis Dominguez was born January 18, 1971. On August 26, 2004, our beloved son, Mark F. Dominguez, left us to be with the Lord. Mark was taken tragically in a car accident. Mark is survived by his loving parents, Ray and Fran Dominguez; his loving brother, Ray Dominguez II; his loving niece and God Daughter, Demerie Dominguez; his loving nephew, Jeremy Dominguez; his loving grandmother, Mary Ann Garcia; his close and very special uncles, aunts, and cousins from Albuquerque; and his close and very special uncles, aunts, and cousins from his birthplace of San Jose, CA. He is also survived by a host of wonderful, close, and special friends. Mark will be greatly missed. Serving as Pallbearers will be Jeremy Dominguez, Nathan Fiske, Maury Varela, Jason Garcia, Adrian Perez, Arthur Villalovos, Tony Dominguez, Jr., and Chucky Giddings. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael and Tom Villalovos, Ray and Steven Gaeta, Louie G. and Gary G. Garcia, Dario Dominguez, Gussie and Ronnie Dominguez, and all of our close and very special PNM Lineman. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 2, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church with Fr. Frank Preito as celebrant. PRIETO -- Paul "Pablo" Prieto, 55, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away at his home Sunday, July 25, 2004. He is survived by his son, Justin Paul Prieto of Los Chavez, NM; daughter, Kristy Karen Flores and husband, Tommy; grandchildren, Glenn Tommy Flores and Ashly Kristy Flores, all of Los Lunas; sister, Gay Prieto Thompson; niece, Sarah Beth Thompson, both of Colorado Springs, CO; and dear friend, Juanita Lopez of Albuquerque. Mr. Prieto worked for 28 years at PNM. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 412. Mr. Prieto was an avid horseman and breeder. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Thursday, July 29, 2004 at 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. BARRY -- Lillian E. Barry, 75. of 319 E. Federal Street, Allentown PA, died July 8, 2004 in St. Luke's Hospital - Allentown Campus. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the Late Gregor and Stella (Yost) Dunst. She previously lived in Albuquerque, NM, for 37 years, and was an office employee at PNM Electric Company in Albuquerque for over 30 years. She was of the Catholic faith. Survivors: sister, Stella G. Young and brother, George Dunst, both of Allentown; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews. Pre-deceased by a sister, Emma Makuta. Services: Private, no calling hours. Arrangements: K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Allentown.

Cherished by wife, Ann; and daughter, Cindy; family in California, Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming, and friends across North and South America, Jim received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cal Poly and went to work for IBM, later receiving an MBA from Cal State Fullerton. He retired from IBM and PNM. On an archaeological expedition to Guatemala in 1977, Jim met the love of his life, Ann. They moved to Albuquerque from Fresno in 1985 and soon became active in historic preservation. Jim was a loyal member of the Fresno County Archaeological Society, the Albuquerque Archaeological Society, the Albuquerque Historical Society, and a mainstay of Huning Highlands Historic District. He and Ann were organizers and hosts of the annual "Dickens of a Dinner" home tour, and, since 1987, participants in the Southwest Institute. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim's memory to the Albuquerque Museum Photo Archive, 2000 Mountain Rd. NW, 87104.

LUNDY -- Celia Carney Lundy, longtime resident of Deming passed away Friday April 16, 2004. She was born May 2, 1926 to Bernard J. and Mary Mahoney Carney in Grinell, Iowa. Visitation will be Tuesday April 20, 2004 from 2 to 4 in the afternoon at Baca's Funeral Chapel. The prayer vigil and rosary will be Tuesday evening at 7 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated Wednesday April 21 at 10 o'clock in the morning at Holy Family Catholic Church with Fr. Andy Riley, Fr. Richard Catanach, and Bishop Ricardo Ramirez as celebrants. Concluding services and interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. After attending St. Mary's College of Notre Dame, she married James T. Lundy. Celia was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and served as their organist for over 50 years. She was a civic leader serving on the hospital board, library board, and Community Health Care Foundation. She was also a charter member of Rotary Ann and a member of Holy Family Altar Society, Golden Gossip, Wacky's, Red Hat Society, Candy Striper, a volunteer at Mimbres Nursing Home and a PNM Consultant for Southern New Mexico. Preceded in death by her husband Jim of 55 years and sister Joan C. Foy, Mrs. Lundy is survived by four sons, John and his wife Marcella, Patrick, and Brian all of Deming; Michael and his wife Mimi of Jackson, Tennessee; four daughters, Marya Mitchell and her husband Dennis of Columbus, Ohio, Suzanne Lundy, Kathy Duran and her husband Stephen all of Deming; and Margaret Dell and her husband Scott of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, B.J. Carney of Las Cruces; brothers in law Thomas P. Foy of Bayard and J. Edward Lundy of Dearborn, Michigan; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Morales, Andrew and Phillip Duran all of Deming; Lupe Ontiveros and Sean Lundy of Las Cruces; Kelly Little of Silver City; and Blair and Megan Dell of Fort Worth, Texas; eight great grandchildren, Daniel, Alonzo and Amber Ontiveros, Josh, Jacob, Jonathan and Justin Morales, and A.J. Little. Pallbearers will be Andrew Duran, Phillip Duran, Daniel Ontiveros, Al Castillo, Carney Foy, and Jim Foy. Honorary bearers will be her fellow bridge club members. LUCERO -- Benny Lucero, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1951, died Wednesday, April 7, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pina "Penny" Lucero; daughter, Dolorita Lucero; three sons, Ron Lucero and wife, Sarah, all of Albuquerque, Danny Lucero and wife, Yolanda of Corrales, and Stan Lucero and wife, Brenda of Los Lunas; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Eustacio Lucero and wife, Rosalie of Rio Rancho; three sisters, Marcella Garcia and husband, Bonifacio of Albuquerque, Kathryn Paroline and husband, Arnold of Monte Bartolo, Monte Bella CA, and Rosalie Lucero of Corrales. Mr. Lucero was a rancher in Cabezon for all his life. He worked for 38 years and retired from PNM Gas Services in 1986. Bennie Lucero was the last line-rider on horseback. He checked gas lines from Star Lake to Albuquerque. Rosary will be recited Sunday, 7:00 p.m., at St. Therese Little Flower Church, 3828 4th St. NW. Mass will be celebrated Monday, 10:00 a.m., at St. Therese Little Flower Church with Father Palmo Valente, S.F., Celebrant. Private interment will take place at the Cabezon Cemetery in Cabezon, NM. Pallbearers will be Aaron Lucero, Ben Lucero, Ruy Mackey, Jason Jaramillo, Jake Lovato, Chris Jaramillo and Rick Garcia French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
