What characters are worth it in Wuthering Waves and which ones not so much? Normally this is an easier question in most games but since Wuthering Waves is pretty balanced, the characters have very individual playstyles and overall it is hard with all the combinations and combos, this was so far one of the most complicated tier list to research in any game so far.
But we id it and below you will find as easily but yet accurate ranking of every character without getting in too many details and keeping it as maintained as possible.
What Characters Are Worth The Invest in Wuthering Waves?
Aside from the individual play-styles every character in Wuthering Waves offers, some characters are simply working better than others although I have to admit that they are all, for the most part, are pretty well-balanced.

Is basically in his own tier when it comes to deal damage. Best SPD character in Wuthering Waves.

Verina
S+
Cheat death, heal and so much more make her have the best-rounded support kit in Wuthering Waves.

Calcharo
S
Once you master his combo sequences (which is not that easy), he is an incredible damage dealer. Not easy to play and requires a lot of timing and strategy to unfold his true potential.

Jianxin
S
Shields, alright damage, gather monsters, simple to play... sounds like she is THE character and in fact you will love her. She has, however, some small pitfalls that made me not rank her in the top tier. You can't pull bosses and elites so sometimes that makes her ultimate less effective and also (and this could be totally my feeling), she doesn't pull large hitbox monsters correctly at time (can be a bug that will get fixed soon). Also her animations are a bit long where she has to remain stationary which sometimes just doesn't work..

Great burst damage and can switch from ranged to melee and do great in both but she has some vulnerable spots when executing charged heavy attacks and also can only parry in her non-ultimate form which sometimes let me hate my life bad. She is overall great, but not OUTSTANDING in all means so be aware of that..

Mortefi
S
Crazy good ultimate that also applies buff to all allies which opens so many possibilities to use him well. His ultimate cooldown, however, feels like an eternity and he needs a ton of Energy Regeneration to really work well.

Sanhua
S
Fast rotation and good burst damage but weirdly enough her rotation doesn't use her basic attack which can be weird and leave some potential on the table. Still a great hybrid.

Rover Havoc
S
Easy to play and decent damage and can also do burst when played right. Only downside is the eternity of on-field time you need.

Danjin
A
The good news here is that her combo is quite easy to execute without any switch cancels or other tricks to work and her damage output overall is solid and nice, HOWEVER, she doesn't have enough burst to really compete with the top damage dealers in Wuthering Wave. She is solid but don't get too deep into her as you will use her for the long run (probably)..

Rover Spectro
A
Good damage and utility but is a lot stronger early than later in Wuthering Waves and at some point the damage can't simply keep up with the dedicated damage dealers anymore.

With quite some invest she is a good support character with a lot of great healing and other support capabilities, but in all means she is not as good as Verina, so keep that in mind when investing in her.

A
Short on-field time required but the combo is pretty rough and if you fail to master it you're basically done..

This was the hardest ranking for me and since the B-Tier is the situational tier I feel this is the most fitting one - let me elaborate... He is an incredible flyiing damage dealer with probably the most unique playstyle in Wuthering Waves BUT it can be irritating and I can name a ton of players right away that hate him with a passion because of this. If you love his playstyle he can be easily in S Tier but if not you will hate me for ranking him there..

B
Not that surprising but she is easy to play but as one of the starting characters that is normal. She is completely ranged, which I like and can deal a ton of Resonance Damage. Still, he focus on primarily dealing single target damage, her lack of parry and long on-field time make her lackluster and you will hit a wall with her quite soon..

Aalto
B
Has good damage and AoE taunt but his ultimate is really expensive and I find it annoying at time to always keep a gate open to shoot and then dash through with the cat-and-mouse playstyle.

Yuangwu
B
He is not bad so his position here in the tier list doesn't reflect that he is not bad so rather see the other characters as better. It just all is not there and I wouldn't suggest to invest in him at this point..

She is not bad with her heals and shields, but right now there is no real main DPS that you can use her with that really works well.
