I’m *almost* embarrassed to tell you how much we are still loving slime over here. We are OBSESSED but let me tell you what I’ve come to realize, this is so much more than making homemade slime. It’s a fun way to connect with young kids and joining them in this slime craze – everything from unicorn slime to swedish fish slime and everything in between.

The hours of fun you’ll put in is priceless as you try out ALL of these fun slime recipes. (and trust me, I think we have tried them all!) Watching my daughter make this super easy Hawaiian Punch Slime recipe (along with the other edible slime recipes that we have shared) I have come to appreciate one thing for sure: this is science and it is so much fun!

Step by Step Instructions for making slime with drink packets

  1. In a mixing bowl measure out about 1 cup of white frosting (or about half the can).
  2. Add in 1 pack of Hawaiian Punch powder drink mix.
  3. Add in 4 drop of food color, more if you want a very bright slime. (add in small amounts to test it out)

You’ll want to store your edible slime in a sealed container (and airtight container works best) and also keep in mind, your homemade slime will probably have a shelf life of about a week, tops. For best results, I recommend writing the date the slime was made on the outside of the container.
