We built a statue of The Goddess Alea. It's a piece of art and we wanted her to be inspiring for the employees to understand that there's some magic in what we do. She is a protector and her secret is that nobody sees her real face. She's got a mask and under, her real nature which is not human, her real face, is not shown to everyone and I think we're going to remove the mask one time per year between Christmas and New Year probably, during this very special and magic week when time stretches. It will become a ritual, we will all eat mushrooms and get intoxicated, dancing around the statue with maybe some fire and sacrifices, let's go all in!"A huge thanks to Oriane Meurant, the sculptress, Josep Maria Estivill Campanera, the owner of the foundry Fundesti and the Barcelona Academy of Art without whom this project would never have seen the light of day.

If you are a software provider or an operator that is facing APIs hacks, I recommend you to watch my 5 minute interview with Katie Goldfinch from iGamingBusiness during ICE in London.Here are a couple of key points that were highlighted:-The iGaming industry relies heavily on APIs for seamless integration, but security is becoming a concern.-There has been a shift from traditional DDos attacks and credit card impersonation to more sophisticated API-based attacks, such as accessing non-bet games, generating wins, and moving money without the fraud team's knowledge.-Aggregators have evolved from simply providing games to becoming technological partners, and APIs must meet the same standards as those in the banking industry due to the potential for financial loss.-Alea has developed an API governance framework to raise API standards and separate betting and winning functions for better security.-Many software providers do not fully understand the importance of API security, so we require them to integrate with our API rather than the other way around to ensure security.-We assist partners in implementing secure API connections by providing a single API for operators to update, while handling multiple incoming APIs from software providers.-We use reverse integration to force new software providers to adopt our secure API, ensuring overall security.
