👏🏼 Yes, and if we want kids to become better leaders of themselves and others, we need to let them lead. 🙌🏼How do you teach students to lead their learning? Do they have the chance to learn ways they might leverage unique talents for the greater good? What authentic opportunities does your school provide for them to learn and practice leadership? Are those opportunities intentional? Equitable? These skills are too important to leave to chance. ♥️💚💙#leaderinme #edchat #model #leadershipskills #lifeready #studentengagement #4dx #educationalleadership #selsystems

I find it particularly admirable when individuals are able to set aside their differences and work together toward a common goal, despite any perceived limitations or disparities in abilities. It's heartening to witness people going above and beyond what is expected of them, whether that means making an extra effort to contribute or simply choosing to let things go in order to foster positive and productive relationships. The ability to collaborate effectively with others is a valuable skill that can lead to great success in both personal and professional endeavors.I especially appreciate when people go above and beyond despite differences and abilities. You may choose to let things go as well as contributing.

Social philosophy today seems to frown on hard-chargers. As the president of a company, I want my company to succeed. It is my job to cultivate leader ship in others. After I depart, I want to look back on my company and see it has gone further and is stronger than it was when I had it. It is indeed my job to awaken all these sleeping lions. Sheep are stronger with a strong leader. Being a sheep does not make you weak. You may also lead by serving. A lion can give you a clear path. Great leaders, then leave it up to the individual or team to achieve the goal at the end of that path. Leaders will at first guide, and then turn loose those individuals that drive themselves, the company, or the team forward. And there, during this process, sleeping lions are awaken!

Hint: it’s usually 60% of income to usually $5k or $10k. That’s 60% taxable income, so more like 45-50% after taxes.Oh did I mention you need to read the fine print to confirm it covers non-salary income like your bonus? It usually doesn’t.
